WHO WE ARE

The Newton Literacy Collaborative is a group of parents, some of whom are content experts, organized with the goal of collaborating with district leaders and decision-makers around selection of a new literacy curriculum. Our mission is to support Newton Public Schools in ensuring that our literacy curriculum is evidence-based and grounded in peer-reviewed, high-quality research studies, and that instructional methodology and materials provide equitable learning opportunities for all students.
